I have been a specialist surgeon since 2001 treating both Male and Female patients. I completed my medical degree in the UK at Liverpool University and undertook my general surgical training in the UK which included an M.Sc thesis. I was a consultant in Northern England for 5 years before arriving in Australia in July 2006. I am Fellow of The Royal Australian college of Surgeons. I am a Founding member of the Australian Society of Breast Surgeons, a member of Australian Association of Endocrine Surgeons and British Association of Surgical Oncology.

I now enjoy living and working in Ballarat and where I have embraced the Australian way of life and became an Australian Citizen February 2012.

I provide an empathetic patient centred General Surgical practice with options to treat patients both in the Public and Private sectors in Ballarat, Ararat and Bacchus Marsh.

Oncoplastic surgery is my area of specialist interest, aiming to improve the cosmetic appearance of the breast after breast cancer surgery using breast reduction techniques and newer techniques such as lipo-modelling. Acellular dermal matrix for breast reconstruction.
Multidisciplinary team delivery of care is vital to better cancer patient outcomes and is an important part if my surgical practise.
Women with family history and genetic issues is also my interest and I link with the regional genetics services to prevent and treat breast cancer.
